For kids
The Beskid 5 offers attractions for children of all ages. A short walk along a mountain trail ensures adventure for any youngster; yet, to be able to admire the view of the Beskid mountainsides without an exhausting ascent, especially in case of small children, it is a good idea to reach the top of Czantoria, Stożek or Skrzyczne by chair lift.
The children who want to experience something more exciting than just mountain hiking can visit the Extreme Park on Równica mountain in Ustroń or the Active Leisure Centre (Centrum Aktywnego Wypoczynku) in Brenna. A dinghy ride, a roller coaster ride and euro bungee are only some of the attractions that the youngest visitors of the Beskid 5 can choose from in the Centre. Older children will undoubtedly find it joyful to go through one of the Beskid ropes courses.
Something that is bound to attract both children’s and parents’ attention is the Forest Park of Surprises in Ustroń. A walk through the park gives a chance to watch a number of animal species in their natural habitat, for example eagles, common buzzards, falcons, hawks, owls, deer, roe deer, mouflons, wild boars. With a bit of luck, the visitors can not only see the animals, but also feed and stroke them. What makes the place even more interesting is that the prey birds in flight are shown a few times a day. The variety of attractions is crowned with a playground for children, the Fairytale Alley (Bajkowa Aleja) with a movable display, or the Picnic Clearing.
Even unfavourable weather is not a reason to get bored since there is the Play Centre for Children “Figle Migle” in Ustroń, offering a mass of attractions: ball pools, tunnels, slides, labyrinths, a climbing wall, a magical closet, punch bags and a small rock for the smallest children.
A genuine adventure awaits children in the Tropikana Water Park open to general public in the Gołębiewski Hotel in Wisła, where they can play and have fun on numerous multi-lane slides, in a wave pool and a children’s pool with a small slide
